Request for Applications: AfricXRJob Training Program (Tunisia)

Applicants are now invited to submit applications for the AfricXRJob Training Program to equip young people with the technical and soft skills necessary for careers in 3D production, virtual/augmented reality, and entrepreneurial innovation.

AfricXRJob is an innovative initiative that integrates the digital twin platform TalentVerse, a space dedicated to training, employment, and entrepreneurship. The project fosters collaboration between public and private sectors to create job opportunities and support young people as they transition into the workforce after receiving specialized training.

Focus Areas

  • 3D Modeling and Animation
    • Master the fundamentals of 3D design and animation using industry-standard tools, including training certified by Autodesk.
  • Virtual and Augmented Reality Development
    • Learn how to create immersive experiences using Unreal Engine from Epic Games, leading to official certification.
  • Gaming and Interactive Media
    • Dive into the development of gamified applications and interactive content, blending storytelling, UX, and real-time engines.
  • BIM (Building Information Modeling)
    • Discover how digital construction models and immersive environments converge to create smarter infrastructure and spaces.
  • Artificial Intelligence for Creative Technologies
    • Understand the basics of AI integration in immersive media — including procedural generation, behavioral simulation, and intelligent environments.
  • Entrepreneurship and Soft Skills
    • Participants will also receive guidance on project management, communication, and business modeling to develop entrepreneurial mindsets.

Program Highlights

  • Blended Learning: A mix of online modules and in-person workshops delivered by certified trainers and industry professionals.
  • Certifications: Participants will receive training certified by international tech leaders such as Autodesk and Unreal Engine from Epic Games.
  • Soft Skills & Entrepreneurship: In addition to technical training, participants will attend sessions focused on career readiness, teamwork, pitching, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Prototype Development: Teams will work on real-world use-case projects, building functional digital prototypes using immersive technologies.
  • Virtual Job Fair: At the end of the program, participants will showcase their work in a virtual exhibition on the TalentVerse digital twin platform, where they can connect with potential recruiters and incubators.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be students, recent graduates, or young professionals.
  • Have a basic background or strong interest in one of the following areas:
  • ICT, multimedia, architecture, engineering, design, fine arts, gaming, or digital communication.
  • Reside in Tunisia (applications are open nationally).
  • Be available to actively participate in both online and in-person activities during the program duration.
  • Demonstrate motivation to learn, collaborate, and build innovative digital solutions.

Selection Criteria

  • Gender diversity and inclusion.
  • Regional balance across Tunisia.
  • Passion for immersive media and entrepreneurship.
  • Commitment to completing the full training cycle and final project.

Application Requirements

  • Prepare Your Application Documents:
    • CV (Curriculum Vitae): A recent, up-to-date CV outlining your education, skills, and relevant experiences.
    • Motivation Letter: A letter explaining why you are interested in the AfricXRJob program, how it aligns with your career goals, and why you are a good candidate.
    • Proof of Eligibility: Provide documents that validate your eligibility (e.g., academic certificates, professional qualifications, etc.).
    • Proof of Identity: A copy of your valid national ID or passport.
  • Complete the Online Application Form:
