The Online International Anti-Corruption Winter School – Africa Edition 2023 is an online training organised by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The training is administered and delivered in the English language only (translation or interpretation will not be provided), which will run from 4 to 8 December 2023.
Who can Apply?
- Target group are students and young people:
- between the age of 18 and 29 (born between 8 Dec 1994 and 8 Dec 2005)
- from Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania and Zambia
Admission Criteria
- Admissions will be processed by IACA and UNODC based on criteria such as the target group, the applicants’ suitability for the training, the English language proficiency, and gender balance.
- IACA may request additional information/documentation from applicants and invite applicants for a short interview over telephone or online.
- All applicants will be notified about their admission results.
- Selected applicants will receive by email an offer to participate in the training and are expected to return with their acceptance by the defined means of communication and deadline.
- Participation in the training is free of charge and may attract more applications than available seats on the training. Please be mindful that this opportunity shall be seriously considered before committing yourself to it. For this reason, in case of non-participation or incomplete participation, IACA reserves the right to reject any future application for scholarships offered by IACA to its trainings.
