Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (Turkey)

The GCIP Türkiye 2025 Accelerator Programme aims to enhance the success of women entrepreneurs in cleantech through tailored accelerator activities.

Alongside with the GCIP Türkiye 2025 Accelerator Call, the “Inclusive Green Transition 2025 Accelerator Call” will also be launched within the scope of the project “Supporting the Inclusion of Migrants in Türkiye’s Transition to a Green Economy”, jointly implemented by TÜBİTAK and UNIDO and funded by the Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF).

The Inclusive Green Transition Accelerator Call is open to technology-based innovative solutions that contribute to the creation of environmentally friendly, sustainable, and climate-neutral societies.

Funding Information

• In collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the following categories of support will be provided to women entrepreneurs:
  • GCIP Türkiye Accelerator Programme:
    • First Prize: 600.000 TRY
    • Second Prize: 450.000 TRY
    • Third Prize: 300.000 TRY
    • In collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the following categories of support will be provided to women entrepreneurs:
      • Support for Pioneering Woman Entrepreneur in Social Impact: 275.000 TRY
      • Most Innovative Woman Entrepreneur Support: 275.000 TRY
      • Best Progressing Woman Entrepreneur Support: 275.000 TRY
      • Young Woman Entrepreneur Support: 275.000 TRY
  • Green Transition Track
    • First Prize: 600.000 TRY
    • Second Prize: 450.000 TRY
    • Third Prize: 300.000 TRY

Eligibility Criteria

• GCIP Türkiye Accelerator Programme:
  • Turkish citizens who have a team or an established company including at least two people and running operations in Turkiye.
• Green Transition Track
  • The track is primarily designed for participants who have relocated to Türkiye from another country. However, the call is also open to Turkish citizens, ensuring inclusivity for all applicants, with a particular emphasis on women and youth. They especially encourage applications from international entrepreneurs, including migrants, expats, and university students.

Evaluation Criteria

• GCIP Türkiye Accelerator Programme and Green Transition Track:
  • The evaluations for the GCIP Turkiye 2025 Accelerator will be made in four dimensions; namely Team, Technology, Product, and Market.

Selection Criteria

• GCIP Türkiye Accelerator Programme:
  • Typically 30-40 teams will be selected to participate in the GCIP Turkiye 2025 Accelerator. Please note that the number of selected teams may bary depending on the number of applications.
• Green Transition Track:
  • Up to 10 teams will be selected to participate in the Inclusive Green Transition track. Please note that the number of selected teams may bary depending on the number of applications.
