The Misk Foundation is seeking applications for its Electronic training offered by Youth Voice program, aiming to present the fundamentals of debate.
An electronic educational material followed by a knowledge test, providing participants with the fundamental of debate, dialogue, and critical thinking.

Program Specifications
- General Background on Debate: Understanding the concept of debate: including its growth throughout history and its significance today. Highlighting its definition, as well as explaining the different types of debate and their benefits. Additionally, the model will provide an overview of logical fallacies, supported by examples.
- Competitive Debate: Highlighting the objectives of the debate, providing practical examples of the components of a debate, as well as understanding the stages and the format that debates follow.
- Case Building: The basics of constructing a position and its elements, which are based on three steps.
- Constructing Arguments and Rebuttals: Understanding how to build arguments and rebuttals, the components and pillars of arguments and their differences, as well as several tips for strengthening arguments and improving communication skills during debates.
- Roles of Speakers: Clarifying the roles of speakers and the details of the differences between debate formats and the order in which speakers participate.
- Knowledge Assessment Test: Measuring the participant’s level of understanding of the material presented to obtain the certificate of completion.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be aged between 18 and 35.
- To be fluent in Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading).
