Deadline: 24 November 2023
Accountabilitylab is looking for 12 passionate and committed participants to join on a one-year journey of Civic Charge, an accelerator for social accountability change agents, who want to be part of a global learning network.
Accountability Lab began over a decade ago to support local change-makers to develop creative ideas to enhance and strengthen governance. Since 2015, they have been running the flagship Accountability Incubator, a one-year program that assisted individuals within the governance space to expand their ideas for impact. Over 300 young people from 12 countries have been part of the Incubator since 2015. In 2024, they are introducing the Civc Charge, an accelerator for social accountability change agents.
Civic Charge is a year-long catalytic journey for change makers who are implementing innovative approaches to strengthen social accountability.
It targets individuals (or leaders within an organization) working on inclusion, climate justice, digital governance, or expanding civic agency. Consisting of monthly virtual learning and peer engagement sessions, Civic Charge is designed to provide practical support to catalyze the scale and impact of existing programs. The stackable curriculum will support innovators to work on critical areas like institutional strengthening, advanced project management, and communications and strategic engagement, amongst other themes. The program is a perfect fit for curious problem-solvers who want to be part of a global learning network.
