The Knysna Municipality is launching a programme to assist dynamic and committed entrepreneurs in growing their businesses.
Successful applicants will receive a range of non-financial assistance, including business development interventions and training.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following criteria are applicable for applicant:
- Applications are only open to applicants operating an existing business for more than 12 months and who want to grow and expand their businesses but who have not benefitted from the program before.
- The business must be operating within the Great Knysna and must be 51% Black Owned.
- Applications must be done through submission of an official Application Form issued by the municipality.
Ineligibility Criteria
- This programme is not targeting start-up businesses.
- Previous beneficiaries of the SMME incubator programme are not eligible to apply.
Application Requirements
- When applying, the following supporting documents must be attached:
- A Business Plan or Business Profile (must include a breakdown of the equipment needed)
- 6 Months profit and loss summary (Income statement)
- 6 months Bank Statements (Business account)
- Confirmation of Employees (Document must be attached to the application form)
- Company Documents (CIPC)
- Tax Clearance
- Certified Copy of owner’s Identity Document
- Proof of address (not older than 3 months).
