Aim
- Scientix is now welcoming dynamic, motivated and creative teachers and other educators from early childhood and care to researchers in higher education or science and non-science educators in both formal and non-formal settings interested in joining the Scientix® Ambassadors Panel.
- The Scientix Ambassadors Panel already consists of more than 1400 Scientix Ambassadors. They come from anywhere in the world and they are willing to support the dissemination of Scientix, as well as the exchange of practices and knowledge between all STEM education stakeholders.
Benefits
- Visibility on the Scientix portal (including their email addresses).
- A letter of appointment at the beginning of each new appointment.
- A certificate at the end of each calendar year, with an overview of the activities that the Scientix Ambassador has carried out during the year (provided the Ambassador has been active).
- Membership in the community for science education which supports world-wide collaboration among STEM teachers, education researchers, policymakers, and other educational stakeholders.
- The possibility to use the Scientix Ambassador logo to add to their social and professional media profiles.
- Recommendation to other projects when possible (based on requests received).
- Possibility to support other tasks, such as becoming co-authors (e.g., publications), workshop facilitators, writers (blogs), and many more.
- Possibility to be invited to join projects, pilots, etc through the Scientix Community Tool (exclusive opportunities open only for Scientix Ambassadors).
Responsibilities
- The tasks of Scientix Ambassadors are:
- Task 1: Support the dissemination of Scientix and its services via social media, webinars, conferences, articles, training, etc. (reported via form provided by Scientix).
- Task 2: Disseminate STEM education in general, at national, regional or local level, and support other educators in their improvement of STEM teaching by exchanging knowledge and good practices (reported via form provided by Scientix).
- Task 3: Support with specific tasks through the “Scientix teachers’ support initiative” at the request of Scientix. Tasks may include: volunteer testing of resources, moderation of communities of practice or forums, literature review on a specific STEM education related topic, design of lesson plans, review of educational resources, etc. (reported via form provided by Scientix).
- Task 4: Support the STEM Discovery Campaign (SDC) by submitting at least one STEM action carried out during the annual SDC. (reported via form provided by Scientix).

- Open to active or retired teachers, and other educators, from any country in the world!
