The Network in Canadian History and Environment is pleased to announce its Lillian Agnes Jones Scholarship to support research and studies related to the history and culture of Western Canada.
This research program is dedicated to supporting artists, scholars, writers, and curators in exploring the complex intersections present in places like Banff. They aim to foster creative and scholarly work that nurtures shared meaning and encourages a collective commitment to preserving the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
Funding Information
- Applicants are invited to submit proposals for funding up to $25,000 in one of two streams: Academic or Creative Production.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Whyte welcomes applications from all Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
Application Requirements
- Applications must include a submission checklist, project proposal, resume, writing or work sample, proposed timeline, and budget.
- All transportation and accommodation costs should be reflected in the budget.
- Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide two references before the final selection of projects is confirmed.
