Applications are now open for the KAS Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship Program.
You can do Masters, PhD, or research programs. These programs must be 4 semesters or more at German universities. It is a full free scholarship for students from many countries. KAS works with many German universities. If you get the scholarship you can pick any university in Germany they work with. You can study many subjects like law, science, medicine, music, and others. KAS is a political group.

Funding Information
- For Graduates
- Monthly money for Graduates is 934 euros.
- This lasts for 2 years.
- For PhD Students
- Monthly money for PhD students is 1400 euros.
- This lasts for 3 years.
- They fund research stays for at least 3 semesters.
- Additional Subsides:
- Family money 276 euros each month if you qualify.
- Health insurance help up to 120 euros each month.
- You can get back up to 1500 euros each semester for course fees but not regular fees.
- Money help for research stays in other countries but not for meetings or events.
- Money for children 194 euros each month if you qualify.
Eligibility Criteria
- Your grades must be very good.
- You need a university degree (no help for bachelor studies).
- Active engagement in voluntary work.
- You must know German well (B2 level).
- You must have a broad general education and interest in political issues.
- You plan to study at least 4 semesters in Germany.
- You must be open to new ideas and respect others.
- You must have high motivation and have clear goals.
- You must support democracy and human rights.
