The European Central Bank is offering grants to help women from low-income backgrounds, who are EU nationals, to pursue postgraduate studies in the fields of economics, statistics, engineering and computing.

Funding Information
- They are offering grants of €10,000 each, to 15 women pursuing postgraduate studies in the fields of economics, statistics, engineering and computing.
Eligibility Criteria
- You are a woman.
- You are an EU National.
- You have just enrolled, or about to enrol, in a master’s course in economics, statistics, engineering or computing at a university or business school at a European academic institution.
- You are facing a funding gap that may prevent you from pursuing your studies.
- You obtained excellent grades in your undergraduate studies (i.e. for your bachelor’s degree).
Application Requirements
- Proof of acceptance, or preliminary acceptance, on a master’s course in one of the relevant fields of study for the 2025-26 academic year at a European academic institution;
- Official transcripts of your undergraduate qualifications, your academic record and, if applicable, evidence of your highest level of completed studies;
- An official academic letter of recommendation from a professor, guidance counsellor, administrator, coach or mentor. This letter of recommendation will have to be submitted only when you are called for an interview.
