Funding Information
- Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) sponsors the POLAR Antarctic Scholarship annually. It is valued at $10,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada,
- Be enrolled full-time in a PhD or Master’s program at a recognized university at the time of application and over the tenure of the award,
- Are engaged in Antarctic research culminating in a thesis, major paper, publication, or a similar output,
- Employ an interdisciplinary research approach or methodology, and
- demonstrate a commitment to polar studies.
