Applications are now open for the Advanced Research & University Lecturing Program, in partnership with the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA), is under the Fulbright Advanced Research Program.
This is a scholarship opportunity for Filipinos to conduct advanced research in the United States for fields related to space science and technology applications during the academic year 2024 – 2025.
Also called the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program, this scholarship for researchers, academics, and professionals is designed for the implementation of their own research projects at US institutions for higher education, non-profit research institutes, and some government affiliated institutions in the United States. Grants are awarded for a period of four months.
Visiting research fellowship in the United States should start No Earlier than August 31, 2024 and start No Later than May 31, 2025.
Eligibility Requirements
- Philippine citizenship
- Doctoral degree or equivalent professional training/or experience
- Proficiency in English appropriate to the proposed research project to be carried out in the United States.
- Individuals holding dual citizenship, are permanent residents and/or are presently studying in the U.S. are not eligible.
- Preference is given to those without recent experience in the U.S. Grants are not for the principal purpose of attending conferences or completing doctoral dissertations.
