Submit Applications for Musical Activities Grants Program 2025 (Greece)

Music is an expression of movement, intensity, human characters, identity, beauty and social conditions. It has been described as the “language of emotions” as it is a means of emotional expression, joy and sadness, anger and surprise, both of the creators/musicians and the listeners/audience.

Aim 

• This call aims to support the implementation of musical performances, concerts, philharmonic activities, activities such as workshops symposia, educational programs about music, tours, participation in international actions, events, etc., that contribute to the development and promoting the art of music in the country through broad collaborations and approaches.

Eligibility Criteria

• Legal Entities of Private or Public Law of a non-profit nature, with cultural and/or charitable purposes that have been established until 30/11/2024.

Evaluation Criteria

• The promotion of Greek composers and contemporary musical creation and production.
• The innovative or even experimental approach to the art of music.
• The mixing of different musical backgrounds and the highlighting of the variety of different types of music.
• The collaborations of musicians from different musical cultures.
• The mobility and cooperation of groups and artists both in Greece and abroad and their participation in international events programs and collaborations.
• The possibility of connecting with tourism development (especially for festivals).
• The use of digital technology and new media for music production and expression.
