The Momo Film Co is delighted to seek applications for its Distribution Grant Program to support emerging filmmakers from Southeast Asia.
Momo Film Co believes that independent cinema provides a valuable space for a diverse variety of narratives to be shared. They are always on the look out for films with original and daring voices. It is their commitment to support Southeast Asian filmmakers, and to raise the profile of the industry in the global market.
Funding Information
- The grant will support each short film with a cash amount of S$1000 each.
Eligibility Criteria
- Director of the film must be of Southeast Asian descent and citizen.
- Director of the film must have made a previous short film but not made a feature film.
- Film must be produced in Southeast Asia. Southeast Asia will be defined as Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
- Submitted film must not be longer than 30 minutes.
- The film should have a complete cut with English subtitles at the time of Grant application.
- The film must not be screened prior to the Grant application.
- All genres including drama, animation, documentary and experimental films are accepted.
Ineligibility Criteria
- This grant is not open to full time students.
