Submissions are now open for the Community Training Grant Program to recognise the work of not-for-profit organisations and aspiring professionals in the community, wishing to embark on professional development.
Focus Areas
- Community Training Grants may be awarded in the following fields:
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Leadership and Management
- Frontline Management and Supervision
- Work Health and Safety
- Project, Contract and Process Management
- HR, Training and Administration
- Finance, Sales and Marketing
- Computer Skills
Categories
- Community Training Grants are awarded in two categories:
- Organisational: They invite organisations from civic and voluntary groups, charitable and welfare groups, church groups and other not-for-profit organisations to apply.
- Individual: The Individual Community Training Grants are offered in two categories: Young Professionals and First Nations:
- Young Professionals: The Ben Scott Young Professional Grant is available for people new to the workforce and with little or no experience, just starting out in their career. Individuals under 35 years of age and from not-for-profit industries are encouraged to apply.
- First Nations Grant: The First Nations Grant is tailored to First Nations people working within or aspiring to work within a managerial role and wanting to undertake professional development.
Funding Information
- The Community Training Grant provides training up to the value of $3,000 for organisations and up to $4,000 for individuals that can be used to fund participation on a selection of training courses offered by the Institute.
