The Sawfish Conservation Society Small Research Grant connect the world to advance global sawfish education, research, and conservation.
The SCS is a group of researchers, aquarists, managers, fishers, and enthusiasts that came together to rescue sawfishes from extinction.
Funding Information
- The Sawfish Conservation Society will be granting $1,500 USD to fund research that focuses on sawfish conservation initiative.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligibility is open to students, early career scientists (e.g., within 5-years of receiving their degree), and members of civil society, as well as small nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).
- Applicants from academic institutions, research laboratories, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, or tribal/state agencies are eligible to apply; however,
- multinational non-government organizations are not eligible.
- To qualify, applicants must be located in a country that can receive funds from the U.S.
- Please note that current holders of the SCS small grant are not eligible to apply.
