The Breast Cancer Canada is pleased to announce its call for Breast Cancer Canada Research Grant Competition for the year 2025.
The Annual grant program has been formed to drive progress in the screening and management of breast cancer for Canadians.

Funding Information
- Breast Cancer Canada (BCC) is awarding $250,000.00 in research grants through the Annual Competition that supports Canadian research in focused divisions of breast cancer.
- Screening & Detection:
- Tier 1: $75,000 CAD (Divided into 3 annual payments of $25,000 per year)
- Tier 2: $50,000 CAD (Divided into 2 annual payments of $25,000 per year)
- Targeted Treatment and/or Precision Diagnostics:
- Tier 1: $75,000 CAD (Divided into 3 annual payments of $25,000 per year)
- Tier 2: $50,000 CAD (Divided into 2 annual payments of $25,000 per year)
Eligibility Criteria
- Project can be led by a basic/fundamental/translational scientist, the research team must include:
- One clinician scientist expert in breast cancer
- At minimum one breast cancer patient advocate or a local breast cancer advocacy group as active advisor
- Research focus in precision oncology
- Artificial intelligence (AI) expertise for data mining and/or management
- Research must be conducted in Canada; any potential/future IP would be Canadian-based
- If project is led by a clinician, then the team must include:

- At minimum one breast cancer patient advocate or a local breast cancer advocacy group as active advisor
- Research focus in precision oncology
