The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is requesting applications for its Transition Readiness Grant Program to support Wisconsin’s students with disabilities to successfully transition to competitive work and post-secondary education environments after high school.
Funding Information
- Grant awards must not be less than $25,000 and not more than $100,000.
- Duration: July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026.
Eligible Activities
- The fund will support:
- Transportation options (including contracted services or vehicle purchases)
- Competitive Integrated Employment Training (CIE) Programs
- Post-secondary tuition or supports for students
- Transition Training for Staff Members
Eligibility Criteria
- All school districts and 2r and 2x charters under Wis. Stat. § 118.40 with a secondary population are eligible to apply.
