RFAs: Digital Cultural Actions Grant Program 2025 (Greece)

Digital culture includes cultural and artistic productions or expressions related to digital technology, new media, and sectors of the creative economy (design, gaming, etc.). The Ministry of Culture, through the financing of digital actions that contribute to the development and promotion of high-quality contemporary Greek digital culture, aims at the digital transformation of cultural structures and the encouragement of alternative models of cultural production.

Aims

• This call aims at the digital transformation of cultural institutions structures and the encouragement of alternative models of cultural production and distribution, by supporting projects that contribute to the development and promotion of high quality of Modern Greek digital culture. Digital culture includes cultural and artistic productions or expressions related to digital technology, new media, and sectors of the creative economy (design, gaming, etc.).

Funding Information

• Within the framework of this call, there are four categories of funding:
  • €8,000
  • €15,000
  • €22,000
  • €32,000

Ineligible Funding 

• This invitation does not concern:
  • Grant proposals to cover operating expenses, equipment and building infrastructure.
  • Suggestions that are not related to the subject of modern culture
  • Proposals that were not funded under previous grants
  • Proposals which themselves or drafts thereof have already been presented in public by the carrier.
  • Suggestions for strengthening production or distribution and promotion in Greece and abroad of film projects, activities that are financed via Hellenic Center Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creation (EKKOMED).
  • Proposals for the support of theatrical production and classical and contemporary dance performances and tours which fall under other invitations.

Eligibility Criteria

• Legal Entities of Private or Public Law of a non-profit nature, with cultural and/or charitable purposes (according to their statutes) that have been established up to 30/11/2024.

Evaluation Criteria

• Artistic excellence of the proposed digital action/project.
  • Degree of use of digital media
  • The originality of the proposed digital action/project
  • The ability to interact with the audience
  • Dissemination and impactful results of the proposed project.
