The Accerta Health Access Foundation is inviting grant applications to improve the lives of those in need and actively give back to the communities where they work and live.
The foundation amplifies the work that charitable organizations across Canada do to drive people toward better health, independence, and productivity.
The Accerta Foundation will identify and fund projects and initiatives that are mostly likely to promote healthcare equality for marginalized Canadians to address gaps in access to healthcare programs and services.
Objectives
- Its charitable objectives are the following:
- To promote the advancement of healthcare equality in Canada, by, without limitation:
- funding projects and initiatives that result in healthcare equality for marginalized Canadians; and
- receiving and maintaining a fund or funds and applying all or part of the principal and income therefrom, from time to time, to charitable organizations that are registered charities under the Income Tax Act (Canada).
Funding Information
- They plan to distribute approximately $150,000 to successful applicants. The number of grants awarded and the size of the individual grants will vary based on the relative scope of the proposal and the anticipated impact on the community and individuals.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are currently accepting applications from registered charities whose work contributes to improving access to healthcare services and thereby helping people in need live better lives.
