The Alli Paasikivi Foundation has announced the applications for a research grant awarded as an individual, which is intended for the completion of dissertations and post-doc works.
Funding Information
- The research grant is awarded for a maximum of one year at a time and the amount of the grant is 26,355 euros.
Attachments
- research plan (12,000 characters (incl. spaces and sources).
- recommendations.
- a curriculum vitae that follows the model recommended by TENK and a list of publications that uses the publication type classification of the Ministry of Education.
- statement of the ethics committee (if relevant for the research project).
- in register studies, the permission of the data controller (if relevant for the research project).
- progress report (if the researcher has previously received a grant from the Alli Paasikive Foundation and is applying for a continuation).
- commitment of the research location (for post-doctoral researchers).
- any other attachments (if relevant for the research project).
- The research plan, curriculum vitae and recommendations are mandatory attachments for everyone. For doctoral candidates, the recommendation must state whether the applicant has a place in the doctoral training program. If funding is applied for research that has previously received funding for the same purpose from the Alli Paasikive foundation, a progress report is also mandatory.
Who can apply for a grant?
- Research funding is awarded as a personal grant.
- Funding is not granted for the completion of undergraduate degrees, travel, printing costs, equipment purchases or the hiring of support staff.
