Applications are now open for the Randy Schilling STEM Educator’s Grant Program to provide STEM-related classroom materials for the 2025-2026 school year to 10 K-12 teachers in St. Charles County.
Priority will be given to requests for materials that can be used in subsequent years and across multiple classes/grades. Successful submissions will:
- Grab the imagination of students while laying the groundwork for future careers in STEM fields or later STEM coursework.
- Explain how they would use the funding in their classroom.
- Request materials for innovative STEM activities that can be easily incorporated into a classroom setting.
- Request funding for materials not currently in the teacher’s budget or utilized in their current curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria
- This program is open to K-12 classroom teachers at public and private schools in St. Charles County, Missouri. Community organizations (YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, etc.) are also eligible to participate. Winners will be selected by the EDC Partners Education Committee, which is comprised of representatives from local public and private schools, as well as local business and civic leaders.
