The Novo Nordisk Foundation is inviting applications for a project to contribute to strengthening interest in and the quality of teaching on business and profession-oriented programs such as EUD/EUX, business academy programs and professional bachelor’s programs, so that the pupils and students who have completed their education can practice their profession within sustainability and health on a strong scientific and technological basis.
The Novo Nordisk Foundation wants to promote interest, knowledge and skills in natural science and technology, sustainability and health.
The purpose is also to motivate more young people to choose a business or profession-oriented education within sustainability and health.
Funding Information
- There is a total of up to DKK 20 million. for distribution in the autumn of 2024 for project grants of DKK 100,000-6,000,000 of up to 6 years’ duration.
- In this posting, you can apply for support for development projects as well as for follow-up research associated with the applied for development project. The publication does not include pure research projects.
- The project can be an independent, limited project or part of a larger project which is also supported by other partners.
Project Content
- Support can be applied for projects that strengthen the quality of teaching within STEM-related subjects and the development of competences for business and profession-oriented education that support health and green transition
- For example, support can be applied for:
- Development and implementation of methods, material and resources for teaching
- Development projects to improve the competence of teachers. Please note that support can only be applied for participation in continuing education offers that have been developed in the applied development project
- Activities that aim to increase the search for and completion of vocational training, e.g. science competitions, talent offers and activities aimed at pupils and students.
- The project’s activities must target target groups in the Danish Commonwealth.
Eligibility Criteria
- During the grant period, the applicant must be a manager or project manager at the project’s managing institution. The project’s administering institution must be a public institution and/or non-profit organisation, including educational institutions, municipalities, research institutions, museums or associations in the Danish Commonwealth.
- Private companies can apply for support for non-commercial projects with a non-profit purpose. In that case, the company itself is the managing institution.
