Deadline: 2 May 2025
The ACREME MASTER-MAP travel and training awards are designed to support ACREME MASTER-MAP affiliated PhD students, Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Assistants/Officers to participate in activities such as training workshops, laboratory exchanges, and field-based training.
The Australian Centre of Research Excellence in Malaria Elimination Modern Acceleration Strategies for Eradication of Malaria in the Asia-Pacific (ACREME MASTER-MAP) aims to develop novel solutions and high quality evidence to inform policies and practices that address the major barriers in malaria elimination: failing diagnostic tests, drug and vector resistance, and lack of key preventative strategies.
The purposes of the Award are to support the career development of individual applicants, and to promote collaborative research opportunities between ACREME research groups. For this reason, funding for activities that further the aims of ACREME and facilitate collaborations between ACREME MASTER-MAP partners (within Australia or internationally) will be prioritized. Conference registration and associated travel costs are not covered.
ACREME MASTER-MAP brings together internationally leading groups of scientists based in Australia and researchers, communities, and policy leaders from malaria-endemic countries to deliver a multidisciplinary translational research program.
