Deadline: 10 August 2025
The Danish Data Science Academy is accepting applications for the Travel Grant to provide funding for students situated in Denmark to attend events outside of Denmark.
The purpose of the grant is to enable bachelor’s and master’s students to engage in activities within the international data science community. Applications can be submitted until funds run out.
Costs Covered
- The grant contributes up to DKK 15,000 to cover costs for travel, accommodation, Visa fees, tuition fees and course/conference fees related to a planned scientific activity outside of Denmark.
- The DDSA travel grant does not fund travels inside of Denmark and does not cover salary, daily allowances, food expenses, local transportation, health insurance or course materials.
- In general, DDSA promotes the use of public transport (and encourages the use of train / bus where possible). The use of own private vehicle is only allowed if it is more expedient in terms of cost and time, and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Who can apply?
- They welcome applications from bachelor’s and master’s degree students enrolled at a Danish university at the time of the planned travel activity.
