Nonprofits, for-profits, and individuals with innovative ideas for dementia care that are new, scalable, and in need of early funding are now invited to apply for the Maude’s Ventures Funding Program.
Funding Information
- The Maude’s Ventures (general grant) provides seed funding for up to $50,000 to kickstart ground breaking ideas poised to make a difference in the dementia community.
Application Requirements
- Please provide a brief of no more than 2 pages on your innovative idea to enhance the lives of people living with dementia. Include the following information:
- Definition of the Opportunity: Describe the opportunity you’ve identified to improve the quality of life for people with dementia.
- Proposed Solution: Define your idea, innovation, or new organization, how it is unique in the market, and why it can be successful. They will accept any new idea promoting flourishing for people with dementia, care partners, or both.
- Outcome: Explain how your idea will enhance the quality of life for people with dementia. Be specific about whether you are targeting people with mild/early symptoms, moderate symptoms, or advanced dementia.
- Team and Partners: Share the qualifications or accomplishments of your team. They want to understand why your team is uniquely qualified to bring your vision to life.
- Budget and Development: Explain any funds you have raised and outline how you plan to spend the Maude’s Ventures award funds.
- Your Dream: They prioritize ideas that have the capacity to scale and reach many more people. What’s the big dream or vision ten years out?
- Include up to two letters of support from existing/past/potential partners or supporters.
