Applications are now open for the Israel Quest: Grants for Teen Israel Travel Experiences to build a strong and lasting Jewish identity in the hearts and minds of the youth.
Funding Information
- IQ will award grants as follows:
- $1,000: 3 weeks in Israel
- $1,850: 4 to 5 weeks in Israel
- $2,250: 6-13 weeks in Israel
- $3,000: 14+ weeks in Israel
Eligibility Criteria
- Identify as Jewish and reside in the Greater Washington area.
- Travel during 9th – 12th grades or summers immediately thereafter (Year-course programs after high school graduation and programs beginning in the fall following 12th grade are not eligible.)
- Select an Israel trip that is a teen peer program and that qualifies based on the current guidelines for Israel Quest grants. (Family, day school, and congregational trips are not eligible for Israel Quest funding.)
- Have not received Israel Quest funding for travel to Israel before. (Funding is once per teen, not once per family.
- Indicate in the application that an Israel Quest grant is financially required and would have a significant impact on their ability and decision to send their teen on the selected trip to Israel.
