The France Culture and Scam affirm their shared ambition to foster the emergence of new documentary projects for authors, to promote creativity, to support the process of financing original works and to imagine new forms of creating audio documentaries with high potential on digital and social platforms.
Production and inclusion of the work in France Culture’s content offering will then be decided by the France Culture Documentary Division.
Funding Information
- Two grants of €5,000 each will be awarded.
Eligible Projects
- Projects sent to the selection committee must meet the following criteria:
- Be in French,
- Be in the documentary genre,
- Be in line with the “Une histoire particulière” productions of France Culture,
- Respond to the theme “Telling about their regions today”,
- Be a first or second audio documentary.
Ineligible Projects
- Please note that reports and news broadcasts are not part of this call for projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Authors are eligible to apply for the writing of audio documentary projects.
Application Requirements
- The file must include the following elements:
- A 5-line summary (500 characters maximum),
- The duration of the work (please note that the projects will be primarily intended to be included in the France Culture documentary section “Une histoire particulière ”),
- A statement of intent presenting the project in a maximum of two pages, specifying the originality of the radio writing and including possible developments on social platforms,
- The names and a detailed CV of the author, as well as their full contact details,
- Possibly a link to their previous creations (on any medium),
- An IBAN.
