Deadline: 10 May 2024
Purposeful is looking to resource and accompany young activists in their work to reclaim institutions, sites and systems of political power, supporting young feminist activists at the intersection of formal political participation and movement organising by increasing women’s participation in politics and addressing gender imbalances in political representation.
Girls and young feminist activists are at the forefront of resistance lines in all shades and magnitudes – countering authoritarianism, challenging discrimination, and leading some of the most powerful social justice movements. This is dedicated 2-year funding to build political power, counter authoritarianism and hold democratic institutions to account.
