Deadline: 4 June 2025
The FORTIS project has announced the “Open Call #1 : Boosting Development of the FORTIS Solution” to fund innovative projects that enhance collaboration between humans and robots, increasing efficiency, safety, and productivity in industrial environments.
“FORTIS OC#1: Boosting Development of the FORTIS Solution” aims at attracting and engaging systems actors and innovators – universities/researchers, mid-caps, SMEs and start-ups – that are developing services that can benefit and speed up the uptake of technology. The outcome of this open call will contribute to develop, integrate and validate solutions in FORTIS project.
The FORTIS project is an EU-funded initiative that addresses the development of a solution to help and support the human at work and provide additional ability to the whole workforce.Through this Open Call, they seek to:
- Accelerate the adoption of Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) innovations that can improve automation and human-robot synergy.
- Enable real-world validation of promising technologies in operational environments.
- Expand the ecosystem of robotics research and industrial applications by engaging new partners beyond the FORTIS consortium.
- Selected projects will receive direct funding and structured guidance to refine their solutions and facilitate market adoption.
