Deadline: Ongoing
Dutch film distributors can now apply for a contribution for the dubbing of a foreign quality children’s film, for the purpose of the release in Dutch film theatres and cinemas.
The aim of this scheme is to stimulate the supply and diversity of quality children’s films in film theatres. This scheme ensures that film distributors who want to release international quality children’s films in the Netherlands can receive a financial contribution to have this film dubbed (synched) in Dutch, for release in Dutch film theatres and cinemas. In this way, the accessibility of foreign quality children’s films for a young target group is increased and the financial risk of the film distributor for the release of these films is reduced.
