Applications are now open for the Dow Championship – Great Lakes Bay Region Grant Program.
Each year, #TeamUp for the Great Lakes Bay Region selects seven organizations across each of the region’s counties (Saginaw, Bay, Midland and Isabella). An additional eight nonprofits are also selected based on the services they provide on a regional level.
Once selected, each of the 36 nonprofits will be paired randomly with one of the 72 teams competing in the 2025 LPGA event.
Funding Information
- A total of $237,000 will be distributed through the program, with each selected nonprofit receiving at least a $4,500 grant.
Role and Responsibilities
- If selected, your organization agrees to the following:
- Support your paired teams through attendance at the Dow Championship LPGA Event (an allotment of tickets will be given for each selected nonprofit)
- Attend the virtual #TeamUp Kickoff Session in May.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency. Organization location preferred in one of the following counties: Bay, Midland, Isabella, or Saginaw.
- Must have a project, service, or programming that impacts the Great Lakes Bay Region in one of the following areas:
- Science;
- Technology;
- Engineering and Math (STEM) education;
- Sustainability;
- Skilled Trades; and/or
- Thriving Communities.
- Priority will be given to participants who were not selected in 2024.
