Deadline: 30 April 2024
The Caribbean Culture Fund is accepting proposals to promote social and cultural justice and foster intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding, by providing financial resources and programs to support individual and collaborative projects led by artists and cultural organizations based in the Caribbean and its diasporas.
The CCF call for proposals invites individuals, organizations, and institutions to submit their cultural and creative projects in April 2024. Selection will be based on respect for the values on the quality and feasibility of proposals, and on the proven abilities of project leaders. They invite bidders to write their projects simply and clearly, paying particular attention to the relationship between objectives and budget, and to consider implementation constraints. The CCF intends to support projects across all genres, including:
- Visual Arts (all media, including photography and new and time-based media)
- Performing Arts (music, dance, theatre)
- Festival Arts
- Film (fiction and documentary, feature length and short)
- Interdisciplinary art forms (involving any of the above)
- Architecture and Design
The intended beneficiaries of the CCF are independent artists, other creative producers, and collectives from the Caribbean and, secondarily, its diaspora, as well as small and medium cultural associations and institutions. Supporting creative production is a priority of the CCF, although other activities such exhibitions, productions, publications, and the participation in international events, such as biennials and festivals, will also be considered.
