For the new round of the MAXQDA Grants #ResearchForChange, they want to focus thematically on research projects that center around various aspects of women’s empowerment. The women’s empowerment grants round is a time dedicated to recognizing and promoting the rights and opportunities of women worldwide.
They want to give researchers a necessary platform to give their research a well-deserved recognition. Therefore, they are looking for research papers, where the data is analyzed with MAXQDA, which serve the empowerment of women in various ways (from various disciplines) and attempt to highlight and overcome the inequality faced. In recognition of the indispensable role of equal participation of women in all dimensions, they will support early career researchers with 3 Research Grants.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Grants #ResearchForChange are awarded to early career scientists. This includes all of those currently enrolled as a student in any higher education program, or recent graduates who have received their degree no longer than three years ago.
- They welcome applicants working in any language. MAXQDA is available in 13 languages and is used by thousands of researchers in more than 150 countries. It is also a fully unicode-compliant software meaning that you can import, code and analyze your data in any language you choose.
- The Grants #ResearchForChange are to be applied for and received as an individual researcher. If the research is done in conjunction with a team and the grant recipient wishes to pass on their scholarship, then that it is up to their discretion. However, the MAXQDA license and training sessions will only be issued to the grant recipient and are non-transferable.
- The Grants #ResearchForChange can be in combination with another scholarship or grant, if you wish so. The grant will be awarded based on the following criteria: The relevance and applicability of the theme: „ “Embracing LGBTQI+ Pride“ which should be described in the letter of motivation; originality and creativity of the research proposal; a well-defined research question; description of the research methods in the field and analysis methodology using MAXQDA.
