The BRAC Institute of Governance and Development in partnership with the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), Policy Research Institute (PRI) and Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID) is inviting expression of interests to nurture the next generation of social science researchers in Bangladesh.
RIDGE aims to support researchers in Bangladesh through funding, mentorship, and training to generate policy-relevant insights and build the skills required to produce high-quality research that informs the design of policies aimed at improving the lives of Bangladeshi citizens.
Objectives
- RIDGE will focus on supporting young researchers, creating a unique opportunity for them to engage with secondary data in transformative ways. Secondary data, especially novel sources such as administrative data from government agencies or private sources, often require a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and contextual knowledge to analyze effectively.
