Expressions of Interest are now open for ten Create NSW Artform Boards for NSW based arts and cultural practitioners that demonstrate strong sector knowledge, strategic thinking, and diversity of experience and expertise.
Artform Boards are formal Boards appointed through the NSW Public Service Commission to support the NSW Minister for the Arts to make good funding decisions.
Appointed Artform Board members share their knowledge and expertise to support transparent and good practice assessment of applications to the Arts & Cultural Funding Program (ACFP).
Board members will be paid for the work that they do, and it will be in line with NSW Government standards.
Objectives
- The objective of this Expression of Interest (EOI) is to fill positions for the following ten Create NSW Artform Boards:
Who can apply?
- To be eligible to apply to an Artform Board individuals must be/demonstrate:
- a thorough understanding of the NSW arts and cultural ecology
- an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident
- a NSW resident (for at least 12 months) or predominantly working in NSW
- a professional artist or arts/cultural leader or worker demonstrating employment in the NSW art & cultural sector
- age 18 or over
Who can’t apply?
- You are ineligible to apply to an Artform Board if:
- applicants not residing in NSW, or who have lived in NSW less than 12 months
- applicants who have outstanding acquittals from previous funding
- applicants 17 years and under.
