Focus Areas

• The applicant should be studying in one of the following fields:
  • Forestry
  • Finance
  • Business Management
  • Law
  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Environmental (Taiao)
  • Information Technology
  • GIS Mapping or Marketing
  • Te Reo Māori
  • Health Professionals

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Applicant must be an owner or descendant of an owner in the Lake Taupō Forest Trust
  • A full-time student enrolled at an NZQA accredited University, College of Education, Polytechnic or Whare Wananga. (This does not include Secondary School).

Application Requirements

• For your application to be considered, the following requirements must be met:
  • Complete all parts of the application form.
  • Confirmation of Enrolment and Payment: You must provide clear proof of both enrolment and payment from your tertiary provider. Please note that no free courses will be eligible for consideration.
  • Provide a verified bank account number from your bank.
  • Incomplete applications will be declined.
