Calling All Nigerian Economics Undergraduates: Transform Your Final Year Thesis Into Policy-Relevant With Afel’s AfCFTA Research Grant.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for this grant, you must:
- Be a final-year Economics student enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Select a research topic related to the AfCFTA.
Application Requirements
- A detailed research proposal. The proposal should include the research title, problem statement, objectives, methodology, expected outcomes, and a detailed proposed budget.
- An application video of not more than 3minutes 30 seconds telling them about yourself, name of your institution, title of your research, what motivated your choice of research and what you hope to achieve at the conclusion of the research work.
- Guidelines for the video submission are as follows:
- Shoot with a good camera quality on a landscape mode
- Fix on a stable surface or a tripod if available
- Ensure Adequate lightning
- Use a microphone if you can or shoot it in a quiet environment to minimize background sounds.
- Ensure your head and shoulders are in the frame and leave a little space above your head in the video
- Upload your proposal document, application video and a letter of recommendation from your academic supervisor to google drive and submit the link on the registration form
- A completed AFEL research grant application form on their website
