The Explorers Club is proud to announce its Rising Explorer Grant to support the fieldwork of serious researchers and, as part of its public service commitment, offers exploration grants to High School Students and College Undergraduates as a way to help get their expedition science career off the ground, and out in to the field.
The Explorers Club is proud of its history and also looks toward the future by recognizing the importance of new ideas and avenues of exploration.
Eligibility Criteria
- High School Students and College Undergraduates are eligible for the grant.
Guidelines

- Project Categorization: They understand that your project may be multidisciplinary in nature. That is fine. When describing your category, please just choose the predominate category. You will be given an opportunity to expound later in the application.
- Project Description: This summary of your project should briefly and clearly provide background and state your project goals, methodologies, and intended outcomes, as well as the potential impact the project may have culturally, environmentally, or both.
- Supplementary Materials: If you have images, video, maps, etc. that you would like to include, you may do so separately in the “Upload Additional Materials” area.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The Explorers Club will not be able to consider research proposals for work being conducted in China or by Chinese citizens.
