Deadline: 10 February 2024
If you embrace inclusive design thinking, aim to tackle real-world challenges and aspire to transform visionary concepts into impactful solutions, then this is for you! UDita Grants opportunity aims to bring together innovative minds to create inclusive solutions that enhance the everyday lives of all individuals.
This grant is a call to arms for projects that actively promote and implement universal design concepts, creating a tangible impact on inclusivity.
Project UDita is not just a project; it’s a call to action, an invitation to break down barriers, and a commitment to a more inclusive future. UDita is brought to you by Mphasis F1 Foundation and Avas with Ethos Foundation as the knowledge partner. They envision a future where every person can flourish, irrespective of their ability, age, or background.
Goals of the Grants Program
- Design Challenge: Crafting Inclusive Spaces for a Barrier-free India
- Imagine your design challenges finding solutions not only in public buildings but also in the tapestry of the residential communities, bustling campuses, offices, NGOs, and beyond. The UDita Grant empowers you to address design challenges at a neighbourhood level, making a tangible impact on the lives of numerous users you may interact with personally. Start small, but envision great impact. Think of apps, products, small space renovations, small units/prototypes, and public space inclusions that will be built/brought to life.
- However, let’s not forget the practicalities of turning vision into reality. The execution of these projects demands collaboration and permission from concerned authorities, ensuring that your designs materialise as tangible, impactful changes in the communities.
