The Blackbird Foundation is looking to fund agile and values-aligned individuals, groups and organisations unleashing creativity in young people at scale through inventive and innovative projects that encourage young people to be curious, to experiment, and to be lifelong learners.
They are looking for programs and projects that will encourage and empower young people to pursue and create their own passion projects. Your project should connect young people with their creativity, this might be a neighbourhood community science lab, a travelling STEM roadshow or an after-school arts or coding club.
Funding Information
- They are awarding grants of $10,000 to $20,000 to support projects that nurture young people’s creativity.
- Duration: Funding is provided for a one-year period. All grant funds should be used within the 12-month funding period unless otherwise agreed upon.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are looking for projects that meet the following criteria:
- Individuals, groups or organisations who are based in Australia and who are working on projects which will take place in Australia;
- Projects that primarily benefit young people under 25 years old;
- Projects that will commence in the next 12 months; and
- Projects with a core focus on creativity.
