U-GO is an international non-profit organization that helps ambitious and promising young women pursue higher education by providing scholarship grants. Ayala Foundation manages the scholarship as the implementing partner of U-GO in the Philippines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Female
- Filipino citizen
- Incoming first-year, second-year, or third-year college students for SY 25-26.
- Incoming fourth-year students for SY 25-26 may apply only if they are taking a five-year course.
- Will enroll in a public or state university/college for SY 25-26
- Without any existing scholarship
- Applicants must:
- Have a minimum GPA of 85%
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have no disciplinary or administrative cases
- Be an active member of their community
- Aspire to bring positive change to society
- Be a model of integrity in the community
- Be willing to pursue personal and professional development opportunities
Ineligibility Criteria
- Students who are expecting to graduate in SY 25-26 are not eligible for the U-GO scholarship.
Application Requirements
- Current Official Certificate of Registration/Enrollment signed by registrar
- Latest copy of grades
- Documentation of financial need. Any of the following must be submitted:
- Parents’ or guardians’ most recent Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Tax Exemption Certificate from the BIR
- Certificate of Indigency of both parents
- For children of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and seafarers, recent contract or proof of income
- If available:
- Recent copy of electric bill or water bill
- If shortlisted for the grant:
- Recommendation letter
