The Cornwall Community Foundation is excited to invite applications for its Young & Talented Cornwall Spirit of Trevithick Award to support young STEM enthusiasts in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with mentoring and grant funding, fostering their potential, skills, and career development in STEM fields.
The grant nurtures potential, develops skills, and opens opportunities, ensuring aspiring problem-solvers have the resources and guidance to pursue their careers and achieve their dreams in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
Funding Information
- Grant amount: Mentoring with industry professionals and a grant of up to £2,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Young people and children aged from 14 to 23 years old
- A talented young innovator within STEM
- Residents of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly
- Priority given to those with backgrounds of economic hardship.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Those outside the age range
- Those living outside Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly
- Organisations
- Costs which have already been incurred.
