The French Ministry of Culture and the Festival Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan will be presenting two production Grants for Female Photojournalists in recognition of their contribution to photojournalism.
Objectives
- The Françoise Demulder Photography Grants is presented to female photojournalists in activity who wishes to cover a social, economic, political or cultural subject in a journalistic manner, on presentation of a dossier, including the documents and works stipulated.
- The Grants will be given to two individual photojournalists and not to a group, without any consideration of their nationalities.
- The Grants are given in order to allow the winners to carry out the photo-reportage which has been presented for the Grants or to achieve a started project.
Funding Information
- Each grant is 8,000 euros.
Application Requirements
- The conditions are as follows:
- applicants must have completed at least one photo-reportage (published or unpublished)
- applicants must be professional photojournalists
- applicants must be able to write and speak in French or English
- applicants must not submitted images that have been created, generated, composited or using any software, tools or technology incorporating any form of artificial intelligence.
