Deadline: 18 November 2024
Applications are now open for the Artists’ Development Scheme to encourage engagement with the rich diversity of Jewish heritage and consideration of what it means to make art as a Jew in the UK today.
The organization is on the look-out for Jewish artists to take part in their new pilot programme, which offers the opportunity for both professional and artistic growth.
The scheme is for early and mid-career artists working in any visual arts discipline who are interested in exploring their Jewishness as part of an artistic practice.
This scheme is for any UK-based Jewish artist who wishes to engage with Jewish text, heritage and culture, and develop their professional practice. In addition to submitting a portfolio, they will ask applicants to write a piece about their Jewish identity and why they wish to take part in this programme.
Please note, the scheme will take place partly online and partly in person. Reasonable travel expenses will be provided for those travelling outside of the city or town in which they live.
