The Dementia Australia Research Foundation is pleased to announce the following grant round supporting talented new, early and mid-career researchers.
Funding Information
- Up to 8, $85,000 capacity building Project Grants for early-career researchers.
- Up to 4, Post-doctoral Fellowships, providing salary and research expenses for early-career researchers.
- Up to 2, Mid-Career Research Fellowships, providing salary and research expenses for researchers who are establishing their career in dementia research.
- Up to 2, Clinical Practice Postgraduate Stipends for a health professional to embark on a career in dementia research.
- Up to 4, $15,000 Travel Grants for researchers to build networks with well-known research teams, learn new skills and present their work, nationally or internationally.
- One Research Translation Grant in dementia care. Research Translation Grant, valued at $460,000, aims to accelerate the adoption best practice approaches to dementia care.
Eligibility Criteria
- Mid-Career Researchers are eligible to apply.

- As well as completing an online application form, applicants must upload the following supporting documents (in PDF format, following naming conventions) on the application portal (where applicable):
- Official record of qualifications
- Academic career summary
- Detailed research proposal, including budget and timeline
- Evidence of ethics approval (if available)
- Letter of support (for travel grant applications only)
