Applications are now open for the Walter Charles Price and Adis Florence Mary McIntosh Bursary that encourages greater enrolment in Canada’s documentary heritage profession by offering a financial aid to support the inclusion and the advancement of visible minorities, Indigenous peoples (First Nations, Inuit and Métis Nation) and persons with disabilities.
The bursary encourages students to register for studies leading to careers in libraries or archives. It is for the documentary heritage professions only.
Funding Information
- Full-time students receive $5,000
- Part-time students receive $2,500
- Recipients can get funding for up to 3 consecutive years if they provide proof of enrollment and proof of tuition payment

Who can apply?
- The bursary is open to students residing in Canada who are:
- Canadian citizens
- permanent residents
- protected persons (as defined by Citizenship and Immigration Canada)
- Applicants must:
- identify as a member of a visible minority, an Indigenous person (First Nations, Inuit or Métis Nation) and/or a person with a disability
- be a student at a Canadian postsecondary institution in a program preparing you for a career in library or archives.
