The Australian Dental Association is inviting applications for its Dental Study Grant Program to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who are enrolled as full-time students in an Australian dental degree that qualifies them to practise as a dentist and are currently in at least the second year of their degree.
Funding Information
- Five ADA Dental Study Grants (First Nations) of $5,000 each are available.
Eligibility Criteria
- The ADA Dental Students Study Grants (First Nations) will be available to dental students:
- Who are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (First Nations) descent, identify as First Nations and are accepted as such by the community in which they live.
- Who are enrolled full-time in an Australian undergraduate or graduate entry dental degree leading to registration as a dentist and have completed at least the first year of that degree.
- Have not already been the recipient of two or more of any of the ADA Study Grants.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The study grant is not open to students who are enrolled in courses to qualify as a dental hygienist, dental therapist, oral health therapist, and/or dental prosthetist.
