The Achieve Equity Foundation is seeking grant applications to empower disadvantaged young people across the UK by providing targeted educational grants; allowing schools to foster equitable opportunities and promote positive social change.
Their charitable purpose is to provide funding to schools for the implementation of innovative projects designed to raise the attainment of youngsters disadvantaged by poverty.
Funding Information
- Grant amount: £1000 – £1500
Eligibility Criteria
- Applications that demonstrate a strong link to the RADY principles and can show how the project has potential to lead to improved outcomes for disadvantaged learners.
- Applications for RADY-focused projects that are innovative; perhaps ones that test a new approach and could be scaled up in future.
- Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate that they are implementing the RADY principles.
Ineligibility Criteria
- They will not be able to consider funding towards:
- Funding for everyday student items (stationary, uniform) that are not linked to a specific RADY-focused project
- Funding for general running costs of the school (staffing, resources) that are not linked to a specific RADY-focused project
- Capital costs (repairs to buildings or facilities) that are not linked to a specific RADY-focused project.
