Funding Information
- Monthly Stipend: ₹25,344
- Monthly Compensatory Allowance: ₹6,000 to ₹10,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Completed graduation by June/July 2025
- Are applying for the first time for the 2025 Fellowship cohort, since July 2024.
- Are a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India(OCI).
Selection Criteria
- The Fellow selection process has 3 stages. It is designed to understand your strengths and motivations for this role. If you can make it through all the stages, you are on your way towards a life-changing experience.
- Application Form: Introduce yourself by sharing your academic and professional history, as well as your interests, experiences, and motivations for joining the Fellowship. As Fellows teach in English, an online English Assessment evaluates your proficiency in the language as part of the online application.
- Phone Interview: For some applicants, they want to know more and they do so through a 30-minute phone interview.
- Assessment Centre: The final stage of selection! Here you’ll engage with Teach for India and other applicants through activities including sample teaching, critical thinking, a group activity and an interview.
